Rainton Construction is making excellent progress at the Blyth Bebside Station site, part of the Morgan Sindall Infrastructure Northumberland Line Project. The team is currently focused on completing the station build, undertaking hard landscaping, and laying the final surface course on all asphalt roads and footpaths.
To keep pace with increased train movements, critical works are being delivered around the clock on both sides of the railway line. Additionally, during nighttime road closures on the A189, we’ve been installing vital surface water connections to support the wider infrastructure.
Thanks to the resilience and adaptability of everyone involved, the project continues to move forward with strong momentum.
This project is having a transformational impact on a region that has been unserved by the railway for 60 years. It is stimulating economic growth in line with the Government’s Plan for Change, providing better travel options for local people, and opening up new business opportunities. We are proud to be part of this exciting initiative, improving transport links and connecting communities.
