From fundraising and charity events to dress-down Friday, with all donations being matched by the company, making a positive difference is something everyone is committed to. We established the MGL Foundation Trust in 2016 to drive social value and support worthwhile causes – this formalises our longstanding practice of doing what’s right and promotes accountability and transparency.
InIn 2024, we were recognised at the Constructing Excellence in the North East (CENE) Awards for our commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG). We are delighted to be the first-ever winners of this category; this is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team.

The longstanding service speaks volumes about our positive work culture. Some have exceeded 40 years of service, and 25% of our group has stayed with us for over 15 years.
In 2024, we were recognised at the CENE Awards for our commitment to our people and company culture.
We reinvest in our local area, support local worthwhile causes and create tangible benefits beyond the core services we deliver. Since 2016, the MGL Foundation Trust has contributed to local charities and causes, this includes a £10,000 donation to local stillbirth charity 4Louis and two minibuses for local disabled children.
