Supporting the elderly: The Wag & Co way

MGL Foundation Trust is proud to support Wag and Company North East Friendship Dogs. This incredible charity provides companionship to elderly people who may feel lonely or isolated.

Through the help of professionally assessed volunteers and their furry friends, this organisation brings joy and positivity into the lives of seniors citizens across the North East.These dogs’ impact on the wellbeing of older individuals is truly remarkable, providing them with much-needed company and affection.

We are thrilled to support this local charity and recently had the pleasure of meeting some of the team, including the volunteer Labrador, Wedgie at our office in Newburn. It was great to hear how Wag & Co is making a difference in the lives of senior citizens throughout our region.
