Rainton Construction transforms South Bank Link Road with surfacing works

Rainton Construction is supporting the transformation of the Teesworks site, unlocking better access and ensuring first-class connectivity to deliver on the Freeport’s ambitions.

Our dedicated team is working diligently to surface the new South Bank Link Road, laying hundreds of tonnes of asphalt on the 1.6km road. Throughout the surfacing works, we are employing eco-friendly techniques and utilising materials that meet the highest environmental standards.

The link road will provide access to a 500-acre site at Teesworks. It will also include footpaths and a cycleway as well as a single carriageway road which will ensure a seamless travel experience.

Working alongside our valued partners to bring the South Bank Link Road to fruition, we are building a foundation for long-term growth and prosperity and delivering a first-class experience for residents, businesses, and visitors alike.
