His Royal Highness recently visited Low Carbon Materials (LCM) at their headquarters in County Durham. MGL Group’s Chief Executive, Dave Elliott, participated in a meet-and-greet discussion with Prince William about innovative solutions for decarbonising the built environment.
LCM has received many awards and nominations, most notably as a finalist in the Fix Our Climate category for The Earthshot Prize, founded by Prince William. Our recent partnership with LCM and Durham County Council delivered County Durham’s first net zero asphalt resurfacing scheme, a testament to our committment todecarbonising road networks.
During the visit, the Prince of Wales toured the facilities and learned more about ACLA®, a carbon-negative gravel-like material used in MGL Group’s net zero asphalt.
