National Apprenticeship Week 2024

MGL Group proudly champions apprenticeships and empowers future leaders. By supporting National Apprenticeship Week (NAW), we offer insights into earn-and-learn opportunities and promote careers in the construction industry. The theme for 2024 is “Skills for Life”.

NAW is an annual celebration of apprenticeships and their positive impact on individuals, businesses, and the wider economy. Organised by the National Apprenticeship Service, part of the Department for Education, it features events and initiatives promoting apprenticeships, raising awareness about their benefits, and encouraging more people to consider them a career pathway.

Apprenticeships offer a unique opportunity to learn new skills, gain work experience, and earn a wage without accumulating student debt. We encourage everyone to consider how apprenticeships can help individuals develop the skills and knowledge required for a rewarding career and employers to develop a workforce with future-ready skills.

We have actively supported career fairs, including events at Hartlepool College and New College Durham, as well as sharing success stories. It is an opportunity for individuals to share their experiences and celebrate their achievements.

As a Gold Member of the 5% Club, we are passionate about attracting and retaining new talent. National Apprenticeship Week is a platform to demonstrate our commitment to this cause and showcase our dedication to investing in apprenticeships and higher education pathways.

As we celebrate National Apprenticeship Week and its focus on ‘Skills for Life,’ we take pride in showcasing our dedication to cultivating talent. With more than 30 individuals presently engaged in apprenticeships and pursuing higher education routes, we foster an atmosphere that nurtures and empowers the leaders of tomorrow. Our commitment to our team demonstrates our belief in offering equal opportunities, ensuring everyone can flourish.
