MGL Group acquires KW Purvis

We are delighted to inform you that we have acquired assets of KW Purvis, a long-established business in Alnwick, Northumberland. This is a significant investment to assist in the future development and growth of our core businesses.

We have taken over Longhoughton Quarry which has reserves of whinstone, limestone and shale and will continue the civils and haulage operations. Around 40 employees have joined Team MGL and transferred into the Group of companies.

The takeover is an excellent addition to our existing operations as we expand our equipment and resources to continually deliver customer-focused solutions.

Despite having grown in both size and ambition, we still keep our family values close to our heart. Supported by the wider MGL Group and its services we will continue to provide a holistic delivery solution which adds value.
