Following a recent audit on a demolition programme in the centre of Newcastle, MGL Demolition has achieved NFDC Site Audit Accreditation for the 21st consecutive year. The audit was carried out at the Claude Gibb & Lipman building and reflects the consistently high standards applied across the business year after year.

The NFDC Site Audit is widely recognised as a benchmark for quality within the demolition sector. Rather than being a desktop exercise, it examines how systems, people and site controls work together in practice to deliver safe, compliant and well‑managed projects. Completed by an independent auditor, the scheme provides assurance that standards are not only defined, but properly implemented on site.

During the audit, attention was given to how the site operated day to day, from physical set‑up and access arrangements through to the way work was planned, communicated and supervised.
