International Women's Day 2022

International Women's Day 2022

International Women’s Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality. The IWD 2022 campaign theme is Break the Bias. It was an opportunity for us to highlight the many exciting career opportunities available to women and girls in the construction industry.

Having a diverse workforce is key to ensuring our sector remains relevant in a fast-developing landscape. To support the mission for inclusive work cultures where women’s careers thrive and their achievements are celebrated, we wanted to showcase some of the women who make up Team MGL.

It also coincided with Women in Construction Week, from mock interviews to site visits, careers fairs, work placements and online sessions we are always looking for ways to celebrate, educate and promote the role of women in the built environment.
