Festival of Remembrance

The Festival of Remembrance took place at Durham Cathedral on Saturday 12 November and is the largest event of its kind outside the Royal Albert Hall.  It is an evening of commemoration, music and spoken word.

All profits from this concert go to ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, the national charity of the British Army, to help their work in support of soldiers, veterans, and their families. The festival raises money for an excellent cause, and brings together the community to remember the extraordinary actions of those who serve our country.

It culminated with thousands of poppies falling silently from the Cathedral’s central tower, which MGL Group was proud to sponsor once again.
