Empowering Women, Inspiring Futures Leaders

International Women’s Day (IWD) is a global celebration of the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. Coinciding with Women in Construction Week, we are proud to promote our industry and the vast opportunities within construction and at MGL Group, inspiring the next generation of workers.  

We recognise the achievements of women across our organisation, including Megan and Emily, vital members of our Quantity Surveying team.

Megan graduated with First-Class Honours from Northumbria University and is currently working towards chartership with RICS. She is a rising star and is gaining valuable experience on a variety of projects. She advocates for increased female participation in construction and participates in National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) events. Recently she facilitated a session at Hartlepool College of Furter Education to raise awareness and get more women into the industry.

Emily is pursuing a chartered degree apprenticeship and was recently promoted to Assistant, recognising her hard work. She actively promotes careers in construction and supports our T-Level and work experience students, nurturing future industry professionals.
