A company built on a strong and successful foundation
MGL Group, founded in 1971 by Alan and Sheila Davison, started from humble beginnings, operating out of a second-hand caravan and focusing on small civil engineering projects. We remain a proud family business, and today, we’re one of the largest privately-owned construction companies in the North of England, a testament to over 50 years of dedication.
Our team now provides a comprehensive suite of services to reshape the built environment. Headquartered in Durham, with facilities in Newburn, Newcastle, and Barton, North Yorkshire, plus quarries in Northumberland and the Scottish Borders, we remain dedicated to our founding principles of quality workmanship and lasting relationships.
