The Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA) North East Awards took place on Friday 11 November at at Grand Hotel Gosforth Park Newcastle and we are celebrating winning 4 categories and securing Highly Commended in the Environmental category.
MGL Group Chairman, Alan Davison, received the Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the civil engineering profession and the wider construction industry.
Megan Lambert was recognised as a young achiever in our industry, she won the Trainee Quantity Surveyor of the Year category.
Rainton Construction won Subcontractor of the Year and Project of the Year (£1m-5m) for our role on the Wolsingham STW project. Our work ensured positive outcomes for the client, Northumbrian Water.
We were also Highly Commended for Environmental Company of the Year.
