About the role
MGL Group is a family-run business founded in 1971 that provides a comprehensive range of services throughout the construction industry. Due to continued growth and investment, we have a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Plant Operator to join our team based at Tynedale Roadstone Limited, Gelnfin Quarry, Tower Farm, Cockburnspath, Berwickshire, TD13 5YU.

What We Are Looking For
- Must hold a valid CPCS card with relevant plant operating experience
- Additional CPCS qualifications are advantageous
- Experience operating various types of mobile plant machinery
- Experience working within quarrying, screening, or similar operations
- Full, clean UK driving licence essential
- Ability to complete daily maintenance checks and records accurately
- Strong housekeeping standards and attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Flexible approach to varied work patterns to meet business needs
- Strong commitment to safe working practices
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
- Team player with a positive attitude towards collaborative working
- Self-motivated and willing to undertake further training where required
About the Job
Various shift patterns are available, typically Monday to Thursday, 7:00 am – 5:00 pm, and Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm, with weekend work available when required.
