Due to continued growth and investment, we have a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Loading Shovel Operative to join our Team based at Tynedale Roadstone Limited’s Barton site, Barton Quarry Industrial Estate, Barton, Richmond, North Yorkshire, DL10 6NF, on a full-time, permanent basis.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
As a Loading Shovel Operative, you will be responsible for:
- Operating loading shovels safely and efficiently
- Loading lorries with materials for delivery
- Loading dumpers for transport around site
- Operating crusher and screening operations as required
- Carrying out daily maintenance checks and recording accurately
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and site safety
- Working as part of a team to meet deadlines and production targets
What We’re Looking For
- Valid CPCS card and proven experience with a loading shovel
- Experience on mobile plant and screening operations
- Full, clean UK Driving Licence
- Flexible, safety-focused, and able to meet strict deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and team spirit
- Self-motivated and eager to develop skills further
About the Job
- Various shift patterns: Monday – Friday 7:00–17:00, Saturday 7:00-13:00 as required
