Loading Shovel Operative

Location Newburn

About the role

Due to continued growth and investment, we have a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Loading Shovel Operative to join our Team at our Newburn, Newcastle Site on a full time and permanent basis.

Various shift patterns will be Monday – Friday 7-5pm and may include weekends when required. Good rates of pay, regular overtime and benefits offered with immediate start available.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK. MGL Group fully supports Equality in Employment. All employment is decided based on qualifications, merit and business need.

Essential

  • Must have a valid CPCS card and relevant experience in operating a Loading Shovel
  • Must hold a full, clean UK Driving licence
  • Experience in Mobile Plant operations
  • Experience in working on a screening operation
  • Experience in Mobile Plant operation

The ideal candidate

  • Previous experience in operating construction plant, in particular Quarry Loading Shovel and 360 Excavator
  • Other relevant CPCS qualifications are advantageous
