About the Role
Due to ongoing growth and investment, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Earthworks Engineer to join our Earthworks Team on a permanent basis.

We are looking for an experienced Earthworks Engineer to plan, manage, and oversee onsite engineering earthworks operations. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality projects while supporting safety, efficiency, and team collaboration.
The role is primarily based in the North East, however you may be required to work on any site on which we operate within the UK so a full driving licence is essential. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage bulk earthworks operations on site
- Carry out topographical surveys at various stages of projects
- Operate and support GPS Machine Grade Control equipment
- Use software such as LSS and AutoCAD for planning and reporting
- Provide general engineering and surveying support across projects
- Promote Health & Safety proactively at all times
- Work collaboratively within the team environment
- Maintain attention to detail and high standards of work
- Undertake training as required to enhance performance and skills
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as an Earthworks Engineer on bulk earthworks contracts
- Degree, HNC, or equivalent qualification in civil engineering or related field
- CSCS card is essential; additional certifications (SMSTS, First Aid at Work, CAT & Genny) are advantageous
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Professional, ambitious, and improvement-oriented
- Full UK driving licence
