Triple Win for MGL Group at the CENE Awards

MGL Group is celebrating success at the Constructing Excellence Awards at the Grand Hotel Gosforth Park Newcastle. We had a fantastic evening recognising the achievements of organisations and individuals in the North East’s built environment sector, and we were thrilled to win three awards.

The business was recognised in the People & Culture and Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) categories. Our Head of Research and Product Development, Dave Whitehouse, won the Outstanding Achievement Award.

The People & Culture award recognises our dedication to helping and empowering our employees to achieve their full potential through continuous learning and development. We are committed to futureproofing our industry through work experience, T-Level placements, apprenticeships, and graduate programmes.

ESG was a new category for the 2024 awards, and we are delighted to have been the first-ever recipient! This highlights our dedication to the environment, the communities we serve, and the safety of our employees and the wider public.

Dave Whitehouse was honoured for his commitment to the construction industry, and he plays a key role in developing new sustainable materials and contributing to the ever-changing world of asphalt. We are delighted that Dave was recognised for his hard work, commitment, and impact on the industry.
