Primary school safety talk

We visited Thornaby Church of England Primary School and held a safety talk for over 350 pupils, ranging from age 5 to 11. MGL Demolition is undertaking a project nearby to demolish two high-rise tower blocks, and we wanted to make the children aware of the dangers of building sites.

During the assembly, all pupils were interested in learning about the demolition work taking place and what they could do to stay safe. We answered lots of questions, and it was great to see the pupils engaging throughout the session.

In addition to leaving behind construction-related activity packs and some PPE to aid their learning, we are looking for ways to partner with the school and add more value.
