MGL Group Supports New Outdoor Play and Learning Spaces at Primary School

MGL Group has provided funding for a brand-new mud kitchen, giving students at Sherburn Primary School extra facilities to support OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning). As part of the donation, we also installed 950mm diameter black pipes to enhance play.

This donation reflects our commitment to the area, with the school located just over two miles from our head office, Davison House.

The mud kitchen relies heavily on the students’ imagination, giving them the opportunity to get creative, choose meals to “prepare”, and then work as a team or individually to produce and serve them. We are sure the kitchen will provide both mess and memories in equal quantities going forward.

Sherburn Primary School hosted an OPAL afternoon, inviting parents and carers to see their children playing and enjoying themselves. Representatives from MGL Group were also delighted to attend and see first-hand the positive impact the new installations are already having on the children’s development.
