Men’s Health Week reminds us of the importance of both physical and mental wellbeing. Organised by the Men’s Health Forum, this annual event aims to raise awareness and encourage men to seek support for any health concerns they may face. This year, we’re placing a particular focus on mental health, challenging the stigma, encouraging open conversations and access to support.
At the heart of our organisation is our people. We believe a healthy workplace begins with a culture of care and compassion. That’s why we’re urging everyone to take a moment to check in with themselves and each other.
We promote this commitment year-round by creating opportunities to pause and reflect. From team breakfasts for informal conversations to stand-down initiatives focused on mental wellbeing, we’re dedicated to breaking the silence around mental ill-health. Open discussions are essential building a safe, supportive workplace environment. Our trained Mental Health First Aiders are available for confidential support, and we continue to signpost staff to helpful resources, including the Lighthouse Charity.
Let’s use this week to start meaningful conversations, support one another, and continue building a workplace where everyone feels safe, seen, and supported.
