MGL Group Joins NWG Partners at 2026 Delivery Showcase

Representatives from MGL Group recently attended Northumbrian Water Group’s (NWG) 2026 Delivery Showcase at the Beacon of Light in Sunderland. The event brought together framework partners, contractors and NWG colleagues to explore the future of capital delivery.

Throughout the day, attendees took part in main‑stage discussions and focused power sessions, all of which highlighted the vital role that strong, integrated supply‑chain relationships play in delivering resilient, customer-focused infrastructure across the region.

MGL Group was proud to participate as an AMP8 Ecosystem Partner. Rainton Construction and MGL Demolition have been appointed to NWG’s £3.6bn AMP8 capital investment programme, supporting the delivery of essential water and wastewater infrastructure for the North East.

As part of the Wider Ecosystem model, both businesses work closely with NWG and fellow partners. This collaborative approach ensures consistent standards and transparent communication, helping us deliver positive outcomes that benefit customers and communities.

We are supporting a broad range of activities, including civils, treatment works, demolition, remediation and stakeholder liaison, underpinned by a strong focus on safety, sustainability, innovation and wellbeing.
