MGL Group Celebrates National Apprenticeship Week 2026

MGL Group is proud to celebrate National Apprenticeship Week 2026 (NAW), showcasing the life-changing impact of apprenticeships and T Levels across our business, our industry, and the wider community.

As a Platinum Member of The 5% Club, we invest in “Skills for Life” for more than 50 learners across the Group. By combining real wages, hands-on experience, and structured career development, we create clear pathways to long-term, sustainable employment.

Apprentices bring fresh perspectives, ambition and new ways of thinking that strengthen every part of our business, and this week, we’re celebrating their individual achievements and the mentors who guide them.

Our Social Value team is also touring the region throughout NAW, highlighting how vocational pathways help close critical skills gaps and unlock high-quality careers. So far, we’ve met students and jobseekers at UTC South Durham and Middlesbrough College, with more events planned:

• St James’ Park – engaging with thousands of pupils at one of the region’s biggest careers showcases
• Hartlepool Big Apprenticeship Event – supporting learners with advice on skills, training and career pathways
