City of Culture 2025 - we're backing the bid!

MGL Group is one of over 500 businesses supporting the effort for City of Culture 2025, and we are delighted that the county has made the shortlist.

Our city deserves the title for many reasons, but the most recent Lumiere was a great advert for a northern capital of culture, demonstrating the scale of Durham’s cultural ambitions.

This iconic event puts local people at the heart and creates an environment that champions inclusivity and diversity. It was fantastic to see the city illuminated again; it was the most ambitious event to date.

This is a fantastic opportunity for more culture, investment, and our region. We’re backing the bid!
