MGL Group Supports Future Talent at Lord Lawson Academy Mock Interview Event

As part of our ongoing partnership with Lord Lawson Academy, MGL Group organised a careers event featuring a range of local employers to help Year 11 students prepare for their future pathways.

Acting as enterprise advisers, we supported the delivery of mock interviews designed to boost students’ confidence, communication skills, and ability to engage with potential employers. This collaborative initiative reinforces our commitment to developing local skills and employment opportunities.

Throughout the day, students took part in one-to-one interviews focused on real-world workplace scenarios. We were impressed by their well-thought-out answers, positive attitudes, and eagerness to learn. After each session, our team provided constructive feedback and practical advice to help them prepare for future applications, apprenticeships, and job opportunities. It was rewarding to see how receptive they were to guidance and keen to develop their employability skills.

We were delighted to have the support of our industry partners, thank you to all thirteen employers who participated and offered students a wide range of insights and perspectives.

Helping these young people take important steps toward their future careers was a privilege. We look forward to continuing our active support for Lord Lawson Academy and participating in future initiatives that inspire the next generation.
